Jeff is not a Canadian but he should be. There's something very hoser about him that instils trust. He came highly recommended by our US sax player - Chris Charles. When I first met him, I thought he was just one of Chris' friends hanging out and having dinner with us. He was very quiet, taking in all of the boisterous activity during one of our CAL dinners. I was sitting right beside him. It wasn't until after the dinner that Chris mentioned to me that Jeff was the drummer for the Doors show. I felt like a bonehead. But that's Jeff. He fly's under the radar.

During the Doors album rehearsals, it was immediately apparent during the opening drum riff in 'Break on Through', that Jeff was the right man for the job.
His style is perfect for CAL. He arrives with everything charted and exact.

Jeff has a Canadian sense of humour. He's been photoshopping pics of the various alumni and sending them around. They're very funny and I'm going to get around to posting some.

Jeff is perfect for the series. He understands the way we work and compliments it.
